Know your source format · WebP
WebP images can contain transparency or animation. This converter handles still images and rejects animated WebP rather than silently exporting a single frame.
When to choose this output · JPG
JPG is useful when a photo upload form requires broad compatibility. It cannot store transparency: transparent areas use your chosen background color, white by default. Re-encoding can introduce compression loss.

Images are processed in your browser. Originals stay unchanged and results download as new files. Pixels are re-encoded; this is not a tool for preserving original metadata.
